Emergency Fund—sends $500 to a member who has suffered losses or damages due to a natural disaster. (State Organization presidents notify the
International Executive Coordinator of qualifying members.) The Emergency Fund sent approximately $250,000 to members following Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

Golden Gift Fund—offers: 1) financial assistance (up to $800) for members to develop skills and/or meet educational and professional needs; and 2) Leadership/Management Seminars biennially to selected applicants.
International Speakers Fund—funds 1) international speakers for state organization meetins; and 2) allows members selected as ISF speakers to share ideas, research, and experiences with others.
Scholarship Fund—provides funding for members to pursue advanced degrees. (Annual scholarship fees of $1 per member fund scholarships for members at local, state and international levels.)
World Fellowship Fund—this fund provides fellowships to women educators who are not members of the Society to study at selected universities in Canada or the United States. Applicants must be citizens of countries other than the United States or Canada. Applications are administered through the Institute of International Education (IIE), sponsored by the Fulbright Commissions/Foundations, and Society World Fellowships Committees in Alberta, Ontario and Manitoba.
Educational Foundation—supports: 1) educational, intercultural and training-related projects ($92,919.55 in 2006); 2) Cornetet Fund for Professional Development grants for professional development; 3) EducatorEdge web site (http://www.dkgef.org/); and 4) Seminar in Purposeful Living prior to international conventions. The Make-A-Miracle campaign continues with $500 donations (payable in one for five installments).
Form 43 lists the funds for contributions and asks for someone the donor may wish to
honor or remember. You may write, call or email you donation information. You may also use a credit card. These funds are administered through the International Headquarters Business Services
department, which is funded through your dues.
