More news about Dorothy Haley
Wednesday 10.February 2016
As many of you will know, Dorothy had a severe stroke before Christmas and was in hospital at Maidstone.
Her niece, who visits regularly from Devon, has kept us in touch with the situation, as has Kathy Hodgson, The GB State President.
It was decided that Dorothy needed 24 hour nursing care and her niece, Jenny, with Dorothy's assent, were arranging that.
They found a lovely home up in the hills overlooking Torbay so the sea views from the bedrooms are stunning. Dorothy has now moved to Devon. She's been warmly welcomed in her Care Home and is appearing happier. Greetings are appreciated.
Her address is: Room 4
Lincombe Manor Care Centre
Middle Lincombe Road
It is difficult to imagine the most vibrant Dorothy, who has had such amazing adventures, lying so ill in bed. We hope that she is well enough to appreciate the sea view in Devon.
